I'm currently in Massachusets and will be crossing over into Vermont tonight.
I have 600 miles to go to Kathadyn.
I have 3 companions that I currently hike with and have a ton of fun with; Handstand, Pink Floyd and Jackrabbit.
Being almost in Vermont means that I'm finally getting to mountains meaning that I have prolonged climbs that last more than 20-30 minutes. Tonight I will climb 1500 feet. Woop.
I can't describe the calm and the confidence that I feel standing on this earth. I have never felt so alive or so deserving of life.
I'm still eating like a maniac, in the last town I gained 11 pounds over a 24 hour period. When it comes to food I always get two servings.
My faith in humanity has been restored and it brings me great pride to be a human. The people that have helped me along the way have been amazing and I have nothing but humility and appreciation to show. Also it inspires me to be a better human.
2 days ago I watched Harry Potter and felt way more bad ass than him. I'm a mountain walker and am on a bigger adventure than even Harry Potter himself.
I scream as loud as possible and from the bottom of my heart at every view that I come to. It's nice to let it out.
